The restaurant on Căderea Bastiliei Street reinterprets the Mediterranean courtyard through a contemporary architectural language. The space unfolds around a central patio, an open core that becomes both the visual and social center of the project. Arches and white columns define the rhythm of the composition, creating a dialogue between light, shadow, and vegetation.
Natural materials, wood, rattan, and terracotta ceramics, build a warm and tactile environment, where texture replaces ornament. The integration of greenery, both vertical and suspended, brings freshness and depth, while the filtered light through pergolas evokes the calm atmosphere of southern architecture.
Each area is designed as an extension of the patio: the reception introduces the material palette and natural tones; the upper terrace, shaded by plants and wooden beams, offers a quiet perspective over the central void. The interior transitions smoothly from day to night, with lighting that enhances the texture of materials and the geometry of the structure.
Beyond its visual coherence, the project aims to recreate the emotional quality of Mediterranean hospitality, open, relaxed, and deeply connected to nature. It is a space designed not only for dining but for slowing down, for dialogue, and for experiencing architecture through light, sound, and texture.
