MARIA is an artisanal pastry shop with a total area of 40 m², divided over two levels – 20 m² on the ground floor, dedicated to service and sales, and 20 m² on the upper floor, designed as an intimate tasting space.

The identity of the space draws inspiration from the Romanian tradition of simplicity and hospitality, reinterpreted through a contemporary design language with Parisian accents – delicate, refined, and timeless. The chosen materials – ceramic, vinyl wallpaper, glass, and metal – create a bright and elegant atmosphere, where reflections and textures add depth and a subtle sense of urban nostalgia.

MARIA celebrates Romanian pastry and confectionery, carefully reimagined as a meeting point between local flavor and Parisian aesthetics. The design highlights each detail through a coherent scenography in which furniture, light, and color rhythm merge into a sincere and emotional balance.
