In the creative process for this competition, I drew inspiration from the landforms surrounding the site, the local historical architecture, and Spanish palaces with Moroccan influences. I began by analyzing the dynamics, aesthetics, and climate of Dubai, then integrated natural elements that resonated with this context. I designed the house to establish both horizontal and vertical connections with nature on every level, creating intimate areas for each resident as well as shared spaces for quality time together. The building was conceived in close dialogue with the surrounding environment and the needs of its inhabitants: the exterior volume is shaped by the natural landscape, while the interior is sculpted by the personal requirements of those who live in it
I chose to use natural materials based on clay and red brick precisely to create a cool environment, as well as to evoke the feeling of living in a habitat close to nature, perfectly integrated into the local harmony.
Nature is a master at showcasing beauty and
harmony while blending seamlessly with luxury.
To me, architecture represents the habitat that brings community and the surrounding environment together, creating a form of luxury that inspires and fosters productivity.
